Traction Labs Media
Traction Labs Media is a live stream marketing start-up located in San Francisco. They started with a one page informational website that had so much information, you didn't know where to begin. I created and published a multi-page website, creating the visuals and layout.

THE CHALLENGE
Traction Labs Media wanted to create a more engaging site for their customers. The idea of a live stream analytics company is fairly new and their was a lot of information to share. Their original site was one page and too busy and cluttered with every possible piece of information. In addition to creating a brand new site, they also needed new visuals for icons and images. Another challenge was that they wanted to use WordPress, a platform I am not too familiar with. So while re-desiging the site, I also learned the ins and outs of WordPress.
THE SOLUTION
The re-design of the Traction Labs Media website provides a user with a multi-page interactive experience. A user can click through different pages to learn about Traction and their team.
WIREFRAMES
HOMEPAGE
We wanted to create a homepage that would engage a user to want to explore some more. The original site had stock image at a concert. Our new image is a gif that loops around of people going about their day. This can emulate a "live stream" blogger who is recording their day to day activities.
CONTENT PAGES
To show unity we added a title to all the pages so that you wouldn't forget where you were or what you clicked. We wanted to display the site so that it was organized and user friendly. We didn't want to overwhelm the user with too much information on one page. The pages have been separated in to: About Us, Why Traction, Why Live, Media Coverage, and Blog.
MEDIA COVERAGE
We wanted our users to see how much press we have been getting in the past year over Traction Labs. Without making the page too strong visually, we still wanted to give a glimpse of what the article may be about when you first see the title.
NEXT STEPS
- Re-iterate based on usability testing.
- Create a style guide.
